#febhyurary #febhyurary2025 #ffxivsnaps #gposers #ffxiv gpose #ffxiv oc #hyur #mygposes.#i had in mind to do a whole set with a cluster of actors but i didn't let my hubris get the best of me #anyway. this was a neat lil project to set up #'phytology' means the study of plant life btw. it's not as popular as say aetherology hector always loved horticulture #notice the almost 2 year gap between they graduated and tristan & cei's birth in '53 #in that time hector began his career as a research assistant (aka a T.A.) while working on his thesis to become a professor #whereas elaine began her career as an explorer/archeologist while pursuing her archonship #tbh i don't imagine working at the studium pays well if you're not a tenured professor but don't worry. they both come from Old Money #they were able to afford a nice manor housekeeping and a nanny

#The Portrait of Dorian Gray #The Portrait of Dorian Gray 1945 #Dorian Gray #I watched the 1945 movie and man it's like the first b/w movie I've seen that showed interest in symbolism #And some of the composition was neat and there was a lot of thought put into some of the set stuff #Probably the only b/w movie so far I outright like I think #The main actor did a great job giving a soulless feeling to Dorian as things went on #Very well done! I was beside myself thinking about it which is rare for me #It could so easily be a horror movie with a few tweaks heh #I might have to do some scene redraws later. i just see dusknoir as this guy who's just like. he does not fuck around. canon in explorers of sky/time/darkness happens (and bc i don't see the anime as canon, it's just weird to me). the works

then grovyle teaches dusknoir to be a better person (so slow progression up until super mystery dungeon), i BELIEVE, and it's revealed dusknoir is genuinely a charming, cunning man. it's just that he's still kind of a bastard (considering the monster house he sends the heroes to) LMAO

also dusknoir has an occassional soft side that pops up. particularly with grovyle and celebi. in terms of romance i'd imagine he'd be passionate but kinda tease the two?? IDK I THINK IT'S REALLY FUNNY AND CUTE... AND ALSO. the POTENTIAL

(i fw the future trio polycule ok. and also actaeonshipping. i am very normal)

but i can imagine he'd be a father figure as well (dadnoir hc also got to me. he's not a good or perfect dad figure by any means but he's just. he's just warming up to things. and that makes me SICK IN THE HEAD /LHJ)

and bc IDK. he's chumby he's adorable but he's also intimidating. i don't mind the shitposts, i don't personally see him as unserious.

Oh I am have a fabulous time spiralling out in my specualtion!

I’ve started on the 53 of bucks range lanenow!!

It’s Herbie the vw love bugs number, and he is always involved in spy type plots and getting justice and ultimately bringing his current driver to their true love!!!

But it’s also the number of beads on a standard Dominican Hail Mary rosary - the concept that a saint can intercede and provide assistance - can come to the aid of man! And considering Eddie’s having scenes in a church and buck is very much associated with Christianity - and in particular Jesus (see the meta linked in my pinned post for more on that!) - and a Hail Mary is connected with the emergency services and the military - we’ve seen it mentioned in 911 several times! and then there is the fact that Mary is jesus’s mother - and we might well be getting Buck reckoning with parental issues!!

#I never admitted to being sane #but this show is so deliberate with its sets #remember the 42 behind buddie at the equestrian centre - the answer to life the universe and everything #and other numbers have had significance aswell #thinking thoughts and having fun speculating!#911 spoilers #the number 53 #ngl the herbie connection might be my favourite!#911 abc

Been playing genshin again recently and finally took razor out for a run after a long time and I was so surprised with his build like damn, baby boy, whatd i feed you????

#I am like these with a lot of my favs actually bc I don't really play meta #but apparently i play meta enough to have my favs competent asf so theyre never left behind #my baby boy does like 34-40k on skill like my child u r a phys build what are u eating #he does hit hard asf still with his normals but goddamn #tbf i remember farming quite a lot for his set and he is fully maxed on everything else but im still surprised #again. i dont meta play. I'd be surprised if any of my characters hit a 6k on skill considering theyre all lvl 70 6/6/6 #i may be biased but I'm also support equality and also immersion play #hs rambles #genshin impact #genshin razor #razor #razor is also one of the few characters I never switch artifacts bc he is the only phys build i have #i have eula bc i like mondstadt but I dont really touch her #plus eula involves too much thinking to play for me.
